Armor colors and dyeing
Didn't find any other thread about this but I guess that's the ususal opening
When dyeing your armor you dye only small parts of the armor, while the other part remain the same color as when you bought it untill you somehow make it disappear, delete it, sell it, destroy it, whatever you do the color stays the same. I want to be able to dye my whole armor, not the same color though, I have a 15k fanatic armor and it's currently orange, then black and some silverstraps. I want to change that, make the currently dyeable areas primary, the black on my armor secondary and the silverstraps 2nd secondary, would be other areas and colors for other armors that are secondary.
When you dye your armor, you do as usual but when you apply the color to the armor an options window appear with the different areas, depending on armor there are more or less areas to dye, to not make any misstake there comes another window asking if you realy like to dye that area. More options, lesser twins
Would dye the black green, silverstraps gold or black and keep the orange

Naqser, take a look at the last page of the post about the stupidity of dyeing ect, i posted about a merchand, a DyeMaster that might let you do that....
*im hoping them a-net boys read it and get it done...it *can* be done, mught just need all armours to re-code slightly to say that dyeable part is now part one, and that the rest is ether part 2 or part 2 and metal is part3 *

look at that, you did so, sry, well, I want to be able to do it myself, having a NPC do the allmost only fun you can do anywhere ingame isn't what I call fair, they allready make your armor, your weapons, they craft material, they have the storage and they killed Rurik. Giving them yet another asignment would take away a big part of the social community, people would stop asking other players what colors/color combination his/her armor is, alot of friends start that way, maybe, if there were a NPC that dyed then they would run there and get it done. If your armor didn't turn out the way you wanted there is a chance you like it anyway, so please, no NPC that dyes your items

oh no, i dont waht to not be able to dye with normal dyes ^^
nor to be able to have fun mixing them, i find it fun....but i dont dare mix silver or black, because of the prices
i just think that there needs to be a way for players to be able to dye their stuff in a more individual way, and being able to do that with a MasterDyer would be the easiest way to do it....
i guess they could also add a dialoge to dyeing when you have already dyed the baseparts...
*you have already dyed this armour <green>, would you like to dye the other part <2> <green> also, or rather dye part <3> <green>?*
so that you could dye with bottles too anywhere....
i dont thik they would stop asking about dye mixes, though....i think some guilds would now be able to dye their armours to match the shades of their guildcape. i think they would *still* ask, but it would now involve, question like 'did you use the <metalic> option?' 'what shade is that? oh, you used lime green, then slid the slider to halfway to the black side?' and 'you mean i can get black or almost black without spending a FORTUNE?'
im not about taking the fun out of the game for anyone
(oh, and it was a monster boss that got rurik unless your talking about *later*, which would be an even bigger spoiler)

my idea is just that you can dye all the armor in different colors so i take it you like my idea which you partly posted but with npcs which i disagree with but if you are saying that you can dye yourself AND there is a npc that also can dye for you then i agree with the npc thing as long as you can dye yourself and hell knows what i'm talking about in one sentance, well, in other words, as long as you can dye yourself i'm happy ^^
aren't monsters npcs? :/

not real..NPC is NonPlayerCharacter....
it usually refers to a quest giver, someone you interact with in a friendly manner or someone that is just there to make the place more realistic...
if you hit an NPC, most of the time they ether dont fight back or are imortall (in my experiance, at least)
where as a monster will actually fight ouy, and here they seem smart.
not to mention the one that hits him is a *boss* and you cant realy even go mack him upside the head and capture his skill lol....i was anoyed about it myslef, i mean, i was a necro, AND a monk, whats to stop me simply going back *in theory i mean* and raising him from the dead or making him a zombie, talking him back to LA and THEN using monk skill to bring him back....
(however, this would involve messing with the endgame, and i wont bother with spoilers to it, lets just say that there no way i could have raised Rurick even had i been lvl 20 uber NecroMonk Goddess lol)
dont worry about it, i can read Gnomish, so your post inst that hard....i mean, you even have spaces ^^
(gnomeish is like this...helloandhowareyoymynameisRayea lol)
